So, how did you stand being on tour with Vanilla Ice? Was it somehow cool, or just ridiculous? The Vanilla Ice tour has been great. He's a really cool guy, and they've treated us well. It's the kind of tour where we're looking to expose different kinds of people to our music. We love playing hardcore bills, but we also want to get some other kinds of people into Skarhead too... If you could tour with anybody, who would it be and why? At this point, we want to continue in the direction we've gone with this Vanilla Ice tour. We will always play hardcore shows, but we want to expand into other areas.. What kind of differences have you seen in different parts of the country with the hardcore scene? Wherever we've gone across the US, we've seen hardcore represented well. No matter how small the town, there's always a HC scene of some kind... Where did DMS originally come from? I mean, what did it stand for to begin with? We've seen it in album titles (Demonstrate My Style... Drugs, Money, Sex) and other places. Did it have an original meaning or is there something else? ![]() DMS originated in Queens, NYC. It was an old graffiti crew and and bunch of hoods.. It stands for Drugs Money Sex, and we're proud of it. Between the the 2 Skarhead albums, which one was more fun to record? Why? The new album, "Kings At Crime"... this one is a much more complete product. We got to do everything we wanted on this record... What does the future hold for you guys as individuals or as a band? Get paid and get laid. What do you think the world should know about Skarhead? We're the realest band going....come check us out...come party with us... |
