Sum up the Sick Of It All/AFI tour for everyone.
It was definitely the greatest tour that we've ever done. Every band was awesome and together as a tour we pretty much covered all the different kinds of hardcore around today. Everyone person was great and we all got along really well. Not to mention that we got to spend 7 weeks riding around and sleeping in some crazy bus with Sick of it All. It was just one of those things where you have to savor every moment because you never know whether you'll be in the same situation ever again. It just sucked that such an amazing tour had to end so horribly and abruptly because of some assholes on the Canadian border...

What do you think is the reason behind the troubles with the scene in NY?
For awhile the scene in New York was amazing. There were shows every week, there were several different places to play, and lots of kids were coming to the shows. Then starting last summer, Coney Island High closed, CBGBs wasn't really doing HC shows anymore, Wetlands wasn't really doing any shows anymore, and then Tramps closed leaving almost nowhere to play in the city anymore. There were a lot of fights at shows though and I think maybe some of the kids didn't really appreciate the fact that there were so many shows and so many cool bands coming through. We were really lucky here in NY. But now it feels like 1992 all over again. When I first got into HC there were almost no shows, and now it's like the same thing all over again. Violence always ruins the scene and it's just like a cycle. I'm sure things will pick up and hopefully at that point, people will be a lot more careful and really appreciate the shows a lot more.

So how did Artie end up on vocals?
Justin and I were in Milhouse with Artie for a couple years, so once all our problems with Tom came to a head, he was the logical choice for us to take his place. We knew that we all got along really well (we had all toured together already for 2 months), we liked his voice a lot, and we knew that he could contribute a lot lyric-wise. He's also a maniac on stage which always adds excitement for us to the shows. We never know what the hell he's going to do or say.

What would be the perfect show for you guys to play? Bands (past or present)? Where?
I would love to play CBGBs in New York with Gorilla Biscuits, Sick of it All, Born Against and Rorscach...

How have things gone with MIA and how did you end up with them?
Things have been good with MIA. We got a really good budget to record the new album and were really happy with how it came out. They helped us out to do 2 tours with Sick of it All, they give us tour support, gave us money to buy a van. There just behind us in whatever we choose to do and we really appreciate it. We ended up signing the label because they were at a lot of our shows and kept telling us about the label, and we finally had a meeting with them and it seemed like they could help us a lot. Plus, our friends in Candiria also signed which made us feel a little better. We're used to being on an unknown label (nobody knew who Exit was, only Wreckage) so that didn't really bother us. We had offers from more well-known labels but no one could offer us as good a deal as MIA did.

Who would win in a fight of being metal: Indecision or Man O War?
We actually played with Man O War at the New England Metal Fest last year and I felt like I was watching Spinal Tap. They definitely win the metal award. They were all half naked, they had girls jumping on the stage, taking off their shirts and making out with the band while they were playing. It doesn't get much more metal than that.

If you could go back and redo the soundtrack for any movie, what would it be?
This is a tough question... Maybe I'd redo the music to Fight Club and put all HC in it. I think it would have worked a lot better than techno crap. Atleast I think the movie had techno music in it...

How have the individual members been keeping busy outside the band?
Pat works at the mailroom at Roadrunner, Steve is always doing some kind of weird construction for his parent's somewhere, and the rest of us usually get temp jobs on Wall St. But we all hate working. So we try to avoid it for as long as we can. If we're not working, we're always doing something for the band. There's always something that has to be done. Justin and Artie spend most of their free time on the computer online. I go through phases where I'll do a lot of sewing and make myself dresses that I never wear, or making little clay figures.

Is it true that Indecision is headling the Family Values Tour next year?
Yeah, Limp Bizkit and Korn asked us to do it next year to lend some credibility to the whole tour. So we figured that we'd bring along our families with us and have them play various instruments in the band to really make the tour true to it's name.

With that question, I will go ahead and end the interview. If you have any last comments, death threats, or anything you would like everyone to know, go right ahead:
Thanks for doing the interview Mike!!! Hopefully we'll make it to West Virginia soon to finally play there!
